My husband has been in the National Guard since 2010. We actually met in the Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC). Long story short I'm no longer a cadet. However he is working his way to officership and will commission in 2017. Right now we are in Oregon but we will see what will happen later on. :)

This weekend we found out that his field training exercise is on the weekend of Feb. 5th. However I am due with Malachi on Feb. 6th. So he is going to try to get excused from training or make up a training so he can be there when his son is born. Thankfully it is not a deployment. Also we got to hang out with cadets on one of our friends 21st birthday at the Punch Bowl. We both had a blast and it was a ton of fun getting together with them.
